This is a list of the major Light Artists that worked out of the San Francisco Bay Area during the 1960's-70's.
One of the memories I have of us as a group was the strategy session for our "Light Artist's Strike" against Bill Graham and the Fillmore Ballroom. We all got togather for a meeting/drug/alcohol orgy at a club in North Beach. Someone brought a bag of some strange new drug we just had to try. It turned out to be parsley laced with PCP (Angel Dust). The first time any of us had heard of this now infamous drug. Nearly 100 artists, girl friends and hangers on ended up wasted, talking in grunts and groans and having a great time taking care of business. Strangely enough, we all understood completely what to others probably sounded like just like grunts and groans.
