Face In the Tree: Digital Photograph

This photograph was taken one afternoon at the Waterloo Center For the Arts. I had no experience with digital photography. I loved the immediacy of digital photography. It was exciting to see what I had done and, if necessary, reshoot without having to wait for proofs.

I am still not sure how much energy I want to again put in to photography. For me, photographs, like many other visual arts, film/video, music and dance excepted, are too removed from real experience. As a personal creative effort, "Art" is most useful in an all inclusive format such as books or movies, within which it might find its useful place.

This photo was taken with An Olympis Camedia 4mpx camera an processed in Photoshop.
