Between the years 1966 and 1977 I was mostly focused on photography. My primary subject matter was women, partly for the same reason given by musicians for becoming musicians. It was a good way to meet women.
As the late 60's and early 70's in the San Francisco Bay Area, ( I was living in Sausalito at the time) was free of the paranoia that came later, there were women hitchhiking freely each day. When I got bored I would go driving and invariably pick someone up. Most of them agreed to be photographed. Thus these strange and beautiful women became my models. This nameless girl was one of them.
This photo was taken with my Nikon 35mm camera and processed in Photoshop.
