This woman became one of my obsessions. She was the girl friend of the drummer for Dr. Hook and, when he went on the road, she would come around. I was living in Sausalito at the time, in a 5,000 foot warehouse. It had 18 ft. ceilings, roll up doors , an outdoor area I turned into a garden. It was the studios of Garden of Delights Productions. I also rented out studio space.
Marion was a very striking model with strong features and excellent poise. I have a number of portraits of her that will eventually be worked on and shown, as I do of numerous others. Eventually I know I will need a film scanner to make use of the thousands of images. Naturally, there are probably only a few hundred that are really powerful, but that's enough.
