I purchased Maya 6.1 unlimited in September of 2004. The learning curve has been imense and intensive. I have barely scratched the surface of what is possible. Currently I am using Maya and Photoshop and combining 3-D and 2-D imagery in my compositions. The first period was primarily growing accustomed to the toolset and the second period I have begun to feel that I am beginning to be able to create at least functional illustrations. My focus currently is on illustrating my WIP novel NO MORE MR. LUCKY. You can see examples of the illustrations and completed chapters in the written/NO MORE MR. LUCKY section of the site.
With the early works I have provided technical information, and background on the development of the illustrations. Unfortunately I haven't been as diligent in doing this for the later work.
