The lo poly and smooth wire of Marilyn Swan. This model took me about 1 day to do and was much more efficiently laid out than my previous models. I am trying to work on creating good topology and a correct placement of edge loops, using jpgs collected mostly from CG Talk topology thread among others.
My creation process is to start with a poly sphere with about 16 devisions. I cut it and discard one half and move everything around vertex by vertex, add and subtract edges and use poly proxy to do the final tweaking. Them I create a duplicate mirror and join them. I then create another poly proxy to do more adjusting and then create another duplicate and smooth it. After that I do my final tweaking on the smoothed model.
