This is the first rendition of this. I did the hand and the spaceship in Maya and did considerable editing in Photoshop. The amount of modification possible using Photoshop at times still amazes me. The original Maya image was in need of help. For example: the hand was too blocky, the knuckle wrinkles at the base of the fingers were too far out on the fingers, and the side of the hand beneath the thumb first joint was mis-shaped.

Seeing the image here I am thinking that I need to go back into Maya and bend the fingers more as currently they seem too streight. I also forgot to paint the fingernails bright red but I can do that in Photoshop.

So, a few things to work on but I'm making progress.
