Portrait of Robert King

Before I could create this scene I needed the portrait head of Robert King. That in itself took more than a week.

This portrait began in service to another need, to have a head for the puppet in chapter 18. It was an interesting project which is not completed, (are they ever?) . As I have a servicable portrait of Dominique (at least at about age 24) it is only fitting and necessary.

This head comes closer to having a functional topology and, thus, is
an extension of those heads that came before this rendition.

I like the hand drawn effect on the sweater. It makes the image more than hyper-real event. There is a hint of characature in it that I'm not
sure will stand the test of time.
